    1. Hi Sid, the files are exclusively for the G950U, which the U.S Unlocked variant. I would not recommend you to install it on your device.

BTW recent reports indicate that the S8, S8+, and Note 8 Oreo Beta program is ending somewhere near Jan 15. Post which, the final rollout will be made. So kindly wait until the official release.

    1. You can sideload the OTA using ADB. But for this, you will first need ADB and Fastboot installed on your PC. We have a tutorial for the same, on our blog. Once that is done:
      1) Copy the update.zip to C:\adb. This is the directory that contains all the ADB/Fastboot binaries.
      2) Reboot your S8 into stock recovery and select “Apply update from ADB”.
      3) Then connect the device to the PC.
      4) Go to C:\adb. Hold down the SHIFT key and right-click on an empty space. Then select “Open PowerShell window” from the menu.
      5) Execute the command to sideload the OTA package: adb sideload update.zip

Once installed, disconnect the phone and select “Reboot system now” in recovery. Hope that’s helpful.
