The LG G5 Android 8.0 Oreo update is rolling as an airborne update. It will gradually knock into all the devices. The OTA will roll automatically and your device will capture it. However, if the OTA delays to show up, you can manually search for it. Just go to phone’s Settings and tap on the ‘General’ tab. Then tap on ‘System updates’ to check for the same. The Android Oreo OTA update weighs a huge 1.6GB. So, we advise to download it via Wi-Fi network.
As this is a major update rolling for an older device, do not miss this one. Download the OTA and treat your LG G5 to Oreo.
