Motorola is already working on the next-gen Moto devices, which are planned for release later this year. While there’s still time, the rumors and speculations are at their peaks like the recently released FCC listing and specs. To add, the Moto Z3 Play renders have appeared on the internet.
It’s quite common that we often see close renders of upcoming Android smartphones way before they are launched. These could help users in getting an idea about the phone and how it may improve over the predecessor. During the past couple of months, we have seen several speculations about the next generation Moto E, G, and Z series. Today there, we will be talking about the mid-range Z flagship from the Lenovo-owned company. Up until now, we have only been able to illustrate the Moto Z3 Play’s design based on the images by one of the case manufacturers. However, that only gave a partial idea and not the exact design elements.
Moto Z3 Play Renders – 3D Images
Thanks to the renowned leaker Onleaks and Killertricks, users can now have a look at the device’s design. 3D images and a 360-degree view of the Moto Z3 Play are now available.
Looking at the images, one could easily depict that this year’s Moto Z3 will be featuring a fullscreen (18:9) display, which is the first from Motorola. Along with that, the device will sport the same aluminum body, as seen previously on the Z2 Play.
Further, you can see that the small bezels have led to the Motorola branding to move towards the bottom of the front panel. The fingerprint sensor has been moved to the right-hand side, just below the volume rocker. The left edge is equipped with the Power button. The earpiece, sensor, and front-facing camera are built on the top of the front panel. On the bottom, you shall see the USB Type-C port placed in the middle. Moto Z3 Play renders also show that there is no headphone jack.
The standard 3.5mm jack has sought enough controversy in the market. There are only a handful of devices that have featured without it. Motorola’s take on the same could certainly bring a new perspective to it.
A few things that the new device will carry over from the predecessor are the similar back panel design with encased circular camera housing, along with speaker grills at the bottom, and USB Type-C support. Also, the SIM tray is located right on the top of the device.
As for the specs, it was recently confirmed that the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 6.1-inches display, 4GB RAM, 12+8MP primary camera, and a 5MP front-facing selfie cam. The Moto Z3 Play will be powered by a 3000 mAh or a bigger battery, as the speculations suggest. It will be coming in two possible storage variants – 32GB and 64 GB.
This year’s Moto Z device certainly brings some interesting changes and improvements to the standard Moto aesthetics. The device will be launching soon, but the date is yet to be confirmed. Anyhow, evidence from the FCC listing and Moto Z3 Play renders have given us enough information on what the device has to offer.
