Just this year, HMD Global has already unveiled four new smartphones under the Nokia brand. Now, seems like another Nokia smartphone is impending for launch. The smartphone, known as the Nokia 5.1 Plus, has recently visited TENAA providing us answers and first looks.
The device undoubtedly inherits its design from the Nokia X6. It will feature a “notched” display (although it appears more aggressive than the one on the X6) but is retaining very minimal bezels. Thanks to the absence of the home button, which is now software-based. The display measures at 5.86-inch, with 1520×720 resolution translating to 19:9 aspect ratio.
Inside, the Nokia 5.1 Plus has 2.0GHz octa-core processor, but the brand is yet unknown. The handset will come in three RAM configurations, 3GB/4GB/6GB, with either 32GB or 64GB of expandable onboard storage. The battery is rated at 3,000mAh, decent enough to last a day.
The listing didn’t reveal the exact megapixels of each of the cameras, but apparently, it will come with dual rear-facing cameras. At least one of the primary cameras will be a 13MP, while front remains at 8MP. The setup is yet unknown, but we suspect it to be an RGB/monochrome system. Below the camera plate placed the fingerprint sensor. Nothing too fancy here.
Lastly, the smartphone will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo and will be available in three colors: blue, black and white. Exact launch date not provided.
