Oppo has been gearing up to launch new smartphones in the coming weeks. One of which is the Oppo R15 Neo, also AX5, depending on which market you’re in. Surprises are out though, thanks for the leak spec sheet which prematurely spill the beans to us.
While the Oppo R15 (or AX5) is at the lower-end than the Oppo F9/F9+, the device is interestingly feature-packed. According to the spec sheet, the phone will house a massive 4230mAh of battery and will run on a Snapdragon 450 Mobile Platform. The RAM will either be 3 or 4GB, but the storage is settled with 64GB which we assume is expandable.
The panel will have an HD+ resolution, which as the leaks suggest, could include a notch. At the rear, there will be a 13MP (f/2.2) paired with 2MP (f/2.4) to capture depth information. The 8MP (f/2.2) on the front should be decent enough for selfies. The smartphone will instead launch with Android 8.1 Oreo on top of Oppo’s ColorOS.
