HMD Russia Event Teases "Charged Up" Nokia Phones

After China, HMD is now geared to launch another set of Nokia smartphones to its neighbor country Russia. The event was confirmed by Nokia Mobile via its social media accounts and is purported for 29th of May as the official press invites suggests. Currently, there were no details in regards to the said product launch. But fans alike may expect anything special from the event given the presence of all the top HMD Global executives.

Now, official social media pages of Nokia Mobile started teasing the event. One of the more recent posts makes use of the hashtag “ChargedUp”. Clearly, the device in hint could either be a battery or performance beast handset. Although that still remains a theory for now.

Adding to the excitement, Juho Sarvikas, CPO for HMD Global, also teased his followers saying that they have “some new stuff to share”. That means this is a whole new model that will be unveiled.

Earlier this month, three Nokia-branded phones carrying model numbers TA-1075, TA-1105, and TA-1116, has received regulatory approval in Russia. Whether these smartphones were remakes of last years model or a Russia-exclusive series is unknown for now. Info is scarce, but hopefully, more details will surface anytime soon. So stay tuned.
