The Chinese manufacturer has cited to provide the most stable software experience across all its phones including the Xiaomi and Redmi lineup. MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 8.4.19 was announced on April 20, 2018, which was last Friday. According to the official release thread at the MIUI forums, developers have squashed some really annoying bugs in this release, that the users have been reporting for long. A few of which are device-specific fixes.

The OTA update is already rolling out to a long list of supported devices. However, note that the update notification will only be available for devices running the previous Global Beta build. On the other hand, users with the stable MIUI software will need to grab the recovery/fastboot ROM and manually install MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 8.4.19. Note that Mi 3, Mi 4, and Redmi 3S have been suspended from this update.
